Virginia Hopkins

Whether she’s working with a family searching for their dream home, a first-time homebuyer, or a retiree getting ready to downsize, Virginia offers a highly personalized, individualized, and supportive approach to helping clients reach their goals. Virginia is the third generation in her family to make their home in the beautiful Hudson Valley. Although she’s lived in many places, Virginia admits that her “heart has always been here.” After earning degrees from Boston College and Smith College, she went on to enjoy a long and varied career in university research, publications, and administration, and later in clinical social work. Virginia says she now uses many of the skills acquired along the way in her real estate business which, although often detail oriented and labor intensive, is also appealing because of the chance it offers every day to meet and work with interesting people.
